Ticket types

Ticket types represent different categories of tickets that customers can purchase for your events and services. These can include variations such as standard tickets, VIP tickets, or family packages, each with unique features and pricing. If you offer different services, such as a 2-hour kayak tour and a whole day kayak trip, you should create separate ticket types for each. However, for easy use, you can use all your created ticket types when you create a new service.

Click on the "Ticket Types" tab under the Operations section in the dashboard.

Manage existing ticket types

  1. View Existing Ticket Types:

    • You can view all your existing ticket types in the "Ticket Types" section.
  2. Edit or Delete a Ticket Type:

    • To edit or delete a ticket type, select the desired ticket type by checking the box next to its name.
    • Use the "Edit" button to make changes or the "Delete" button to remove the ticket type.
    • If you edit a ticket type, the future timeslots of your available services will reflect the new price or changes in the booking flow. These changes will not affect already sold tickets.
    • If you delete a ticket type, it won't be available for future bookings. This action also does not affect already sold tickets.
  3. Duplicate or Manage a Specific Ticket Type:

    • To duplicate or manage a specific ticket type, click on the three-dot menu next to the ticket type and select the desired action ("Add Below," "Duplicate," or "Remove").

Create new ticket types

  1. Click on the "Create New" button to add a new ticket type.
  2. Fill in the relevant details such as:
    • Name: Enter the administrative name for the ticket type.
    • Display name: Enter the name that will be visible to customers in the booking flow.
    • Price: Set the price for the ticket type.
  3. Once all the details are filled, click the "Save" button to create the new ticket type.

Reuse ticket types Across services

  • You can use the same ticket type across different services. This allows for consistent ticket management and easier updates.
  • When adding ticket types to a service, you can select from previously created ticket types in the drop-down list, making the process more efficient.
